MINUTE MEDITATION FOR TODAY

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Comfort one another and edify one another, as indeed you are doing.

Reflection:It is the Christian's duty to help others to attain the Kingdom of God. This concerns the help that we must give to each other by prayer, an encouraging word, or a helping hand. Do I do this, or am I an obstacle to anyone?

Prayer:Heavenly Father, may Your Reign be realized always more and more in me and also in all human beings-who are Your children. Amen

Action Plan:1. Call up a friend (someone whom I not talked to for quite a while).
2. Send a card or e-mail to someone.
3. Give an encouragement to someone.
4. Give someone a pat on the shoulder.
5. Give somebody a bear hug.
6. Invite somebody to church.
7. Do a kind deed. (Holding the door, give a smile, carrying a heavy load, give up your seat, offering to get something for someone less mobile etc).
8. Praise someone today!
9. Treat someone to Hi-T (HDB tai-tai style).
10. Share the Good News with someone.
